What to expect from the Freshers’ Fairs

 In Advice

NTSU’s Freshers’ Fairs are some of more than 500 events taking place during your first week at NTU. They’re designed to give you an insight into what student life has to offer and they’ll be taking place across all three campuses on the following dates:

  • Brackenhurst – Monday 23rd September, 11am-3pm, The Orangery
  • Clifton – Tuesday 24th September, 10am-3pm, Lee Westwood Sports Centre
  • City (sports) – Wednesday 25th September, 10am-3pm, City SU building
  • City (societies) – Thursday 26th September, 10am-3pm, City SU building

Here’s what you can expect to find if you attend.

Discounts and freebies

From t-shirts and pizza to stationery and vouchers, the Freshers’ Fairs are a chance for you to pick up all kinds of freebies. Make sure you get there early to avoid missing out.

Companies from across the city

The fairs are attended by companies from across the city which means you’ll also get an insight into what’s on offer for students in the city. Restaurants, retailers and travel companies are just some of what you can expect.

Sports clubs and societies

If you’ve been thinking about joining a sports club or society while here at Trent, the fairs are a chance for you to speak to current members and sign up. Doing so is a great way to meet new people, especially in your first year.

Students’ Union

Your Executive Officers, Information and Advice Service, Opportunities and Student Voice Departments will also be on hand to let you know more about all the opportunities on offer to you at the Students’ Union. Make sure you say hello!

We look forward to seeing you there.
